About Sascha.
Sascha, the dog at the heart of the story, is a real Standard Schnauzer who lives in Texas and once had serious ranch-life ambitions. (She's since reconsidered.)
She has a playful streak, a mind of her own, and strong opinions about squirrels. Some days are loud and playful; others are softer, slower.
In dog+girl, she's the narrator - observant, easily distracted, and entirely devoted to Loops. She notices the little things others might miss and reminds us that life is fuller and more meaningful with a friend by your side. The story is hers to tell.
Sascha's story.
As a puppy in Montana, Sascha had a big dream: to become a cow dog, running through herds of cattle and keeping order across the open prairie.
But life had other plans. Sascha packed up for a new life in Texas with a girl named María, and her world grew bigger. Together they learned adventure - mountain hikes, basketball games, city parks, and road trips across Texas. Wherever María went, Sascha went too. They were inseparable, and boredom never stood a chance.
One day, on a road trip, Sascha finally visited a ranch. The endless sky and the massive herd looked just like her dream - everything except the rest. The days were loud and busy. The cow dog ran everywhere, exhausted. His kibble looked far less appetizing than María's treats; his bed was dirty and far less comfortable. And above all, Sascha never once saw that cow dog receive a hug.
Then Sascha understood. Life had given her so much more than her puppy dream - a steady presence that turned ordinary moments into meaningful adventures.
She realized how extraordinary her bond with María was, and wondered how she could honor it. That's when Sascha began to dream of something new: a book to tell their story. Their beautiful story.

Sascha is made in partnership with Adada Paris, a French design house known for meticulous craftsmanship and timeless, collectible design. Each plush reflects a shared belief: that meaningful objects should be beautiful, emotionally resonant, and made to last.
Standing 19 inches tall, she's sewn from GOTS-certified, chemical-free fabrics and is laboratory-tested and safe for newborns - huggable, durable, and meant to be kept for years.
