A story about a girl, her dog, and the moments in between.
The story.
dog+girl is a rhyming picture book narrated by Sascha, a Standard Schnauzer with big feelings about snacks, squirrels, and her favorite person, Loops.
Together, they trade chilly Montana mornings for the wide-open skies of Texas, where their days are filled with small adventures, strong opinions, and the occasional upside-down moment of confusion.
Warm, funny, and just a little ridiculous - like life with a dog tends to be.
A story for young readers - and the ones beside them.
Written for children ages 3-8, dog+girl reads aloud easily and rewards a second, third, and fourth go.
A book for bedtime, the car, the floor, and the lap of someone you love.

About Sascha.
Sascha, the dog at the heart of the story, is a real Standard Schnauzer who lives in Texas and once dreamed of becoming a rancher. (She's since reconsidered.)
She has a playful streak, a mind of her own, and strong opinions about squirrels.
Some days are loud and playful. Others softer, slower.
In the book, she's the narrator - observant, easily distracted, and entirely devoted to Loops. She notices what others might overlook, revealing that life is fuller and more meaningful with a friend by your side. The story is hers to tell.
Recognized for excellence in children's literature.
A note from the publisher.
At Lyvro, we make books for children that are worth keeping - stories with rhythm, humor, and heart, made to be read aloud and read again.
